A relaxing morning at the Parador before leaving for Santander, 177 Km taking a couple of hours. We drove through mountain ranges over many aqueducts and through tunnels.
They have a siesta between 1400-1630 so we parked the car at Avis with our luggage and headed on foot to post the GPS to find it shut until 1630! Once we had deposited the car and found somewhere in the bus station to store our luggage we found a cafe/pub and settled in for 3 hours waiting to board the Brittany Ferries ferry at 2130 which was full of families with young children. The journey to Plymouth took 20 hours! on the Bay of Biscayne for 10 hrs then on the Celtic Sea. Fortunately Michael was able to get the last cabin before leaving Perth which was much better than were expecting.
